The treatment of the parodontium's diseases is of high importance because the healthy gum serves as the base of all further dental treatments. The most common disease is gingivitis. The symptoms are the red and swollen gum, tooth moving and gum bleeding.

There are two alternatives for  solving this problem, the usage of laser and the operation which is necessary in some advanced cases, occasionally combined with laser therapy to be more effective.
